Frequently asked questions
Payment using the savings
You become the owner of the system after just one year because of the subsidy. After HAAS has received your full payment and ISDE subsidy, and the hybrid heat pump has been installed.
This is the power of HAASheat. Your tax benefits (Working Allowance Scheme) give you up to 50% discount on the purchase. You can pay with your gross salary or days off. Even with a just a few days off, you can pay for the whole year at once!
Then there are various solutions:
- Your employer can use HAASPlus+, and outside of the WKR, reimburse you for the hybrid heat pump with some extra days off that you exchange for it (see the web calculator).
- Your employer can temporarily change certain reservations (e.g. a contribution, membership, party package) to participation in the hybrid heat pump. In the end, you will save much more! Ongoing savings and therefore monthly money.
- Your employer can reserve it for the next calendar year.
This is arranged by the HAASheat financing service.
There are 2 packages, one with an immediate payment and a loan payable over 84 months. In both cases, you are the immediate owner. We apply for the subsidy and arrange the loan with the Nationaal Warmte Fonds at a very low interest rate. In addition, we help you to take advantage of tax benefits through your employer (as with the bicycle plan), so you pay much less for the heat pump. With the direct payment package you receive the employee compensation (tax benefit) during 6 months up to a maximum of 7 years. With the loan package, your compensation is paid during 84 months, leaving you with a monthly payment of only €20 to €29.95. See our savings calculator on the website. With both packages, you become owner immediately after the financing and subsidy are approved and paid.
As an employer, the Working Allowance Scheme (WKR) allows you to give your employees untaxed compensation. The WKR now also allows you to give your employees a tax-free allowance for a hybrid heat pump through the HAASheat concept.
Moving house, changing jobs or energy suppliers
Due to the increase in value of the house, the hybrid heat pump is usually sold with the house.
Any financing will continue, but your house will have a great added value when sold, so you will easily recover those costs. The new owner can take over your hybrid heat pump (and the savings!).
That does not affect your situation.
Then the benefits can be transferred to the next employer. Provided that the term has not yet expired and the employer is open to this.
Employer
The employer does not need to vouch for the employee nor are there any (financial) risk.
HAASPLUS+
If there is no more space in the WKR, the HAASheat concept can also be used outside the WKR with HAASPlus+. The employee then exchanges a few extra days off in order to reimburse the extra employer costs (80% final tax levy). As an employer, you therefore have no additional costs!
The employee concludes a contract with HAASheat. The employee then takes their invoice to the employer.

HAAS is the internet portal that provides information on hybrid heat pumps and the possibility of obtaining a large purchase discount through employee benefits (e.g. Working Allowance Scheme and HAASplus+). By calculating in advance on the website, you can see how much you can potentially save, provided your home is suitable for the system. The large discounts are obtained by your employee benefits (= Working Allownace Scheme), the subsidy, our HAAS calculations and the HAASplus+ package, if the Working Allowance Scheme has already been allocated. You can then arrange the order, the subsidy, the installation request, the financing and the discounts with one signature and one form. HAAS will then take care of all these elements.
The HAAS model allows you to pay from the savings, and after 2 to 7 years the entire savings are yours. This will accelerate the energy transition and you will save 2000 kilos of CO2 per year per house. With HAAS, 100,000 homes will save 200,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.

The indoor unit makes almost no sound, and the latest technology for the outdoor unit makes it almost whisper-quiet. In the summer, you are outside and the unit is mostly silent. In autumn and winter, you are mostly inside, so you won’t hear it either.
The small indoor unit is: 492x268x220mm (16 kg) and the outdoor unit 550x849x342mm (39 kg).
It is the ”personal assistant” to your existing central heating boiler, which remains in use. The expected service life with normal use is 15-20 years.
The manufacturer’s warranty on the hybrid heat pump itself is 7 years. 2 years completely and 5 years for parts.
